Like many of you, university leadership has been following events in the U.S. Congress, as we approach the deadline for a government shutdown, set to begin on Sunday, October 1. At this time, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has not provided final guidance to federal agencies about what actions they may or may not take during a shutdown.

2023 Annual Security & Fire Safety Report Notice of Availability

The USC Department of Public Safety today posted the 2023 Annual Security & Fire Safety Report (ASR). This report is mandated by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, a federal law that requires colleges and universities across the country to disclose information about crimes reported on campus and its surrounding areas.

USC Student Handbook and University Policies

Our student conduct processes focus on education and supporting your next steps to be successful in your personal, academic, and professional lives at USC. Each year offices and academic departments across the entire university review and assess the policies in the handbook. After careful review, the university makes changes to improve efficiency and transparency.

Active shooter drill on May 18 at HSC

This Thursday, May 18, DPS will partner with the Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles Fire Department, and others in a drill at the Health Sciences Campus (HSC) that will simulate an active shooter situation.
