Fall 2025 Mindful USC

September 2, 2025

Dear Trojans,

As we begin a new academic year, the Provost’s Office is pleased to invite you to join Mindful USC—a program dedicated to supporting the well-being, resilience, and growth of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Mindful USC offers a wide variety of free classes, retreats, sound baths, drop-in meditation groups, and other experiences designed to reduce stress, increase clarity, and cultivate kindness, joy, and resilience. Whether you are new to mindfulness or seeking to deepen your practice, you’ll find opportunities to explore how mindfulness can support your life—from developing a sustainable home practice, to regulating the nervous system and managing stress, to exploring creativity, deepening self-compassion, strengthening parenting, and connecting consciously with the natural world on and off campus. For mindful movement, our partner program, Yoga USC, offers free yoga classes.

Mindfulness is the practice of bringing presence, openness, and kindness to each moment. Backed by a large body of scientific research, its benefits ripple into our academic, professional, and personal lives, and help us to show up with greater wisdom and compassion for ourselves and others.

We invite you to take part in this opportunity to learn and grow, individually and in community. Classes fill quickly, so we encourage you to register soon.
