The “Safer at Home” order affecting Southern California has been extended, and anyone who has traveled outside of the region must quarantine for 10 days upon returning to Los Angeles County. (The region is defined as Imperial, Inyo, Los Angeles, Mono, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.)
You may not come to work or attend in person class at USC during the 10-day quarantine period. (There are certain exemptions.)
USC Student Health’s Sarah Van Orman advises:
- Avoid non-essential travel and adhere to the mandatory 10-day quarantine period if you have left the Southern California region.
- Do not attend gatherings with people outside of your household.
- Ensure that all essential activities are moved to remote, virtual or outdoors.
