4/7: Travel advisory revised, regular testing continues for campus access

The L.A. County Department of Public Health has updated its advisory regarding travel. Non-essential travel is still discouraged. For those who must travel:

Those who are fully vaccinated (two weeks since their second dose for Pfizer or Moderna, or after their single dose of Johnson & Johnson) can travel within the U.S. and are not required to test or quarantine on returning if they are symptom-free.

Travelers who are not fully vaccinated:

  • If you do not get tested on returning, a 10-day quarantine is required before resuming activities including returning to campus.
  • If you are tested within three to five days of returning and get a negative COVID-19 result, a seven-day quarantine is required before returning to campus.

Faculty, staff and students who are accessing campus should continue to test regularly.
