Subject: Student Well-being Index Survey 2021
Dear Students,
Later today you will receive an email invitation to participate in a web-based survey to help our university community better understand your opinions about and experiences related to wellbeing.
Today, March 15, 2021, USC will launch the Student Well-being Index Survey (SWIS), a comprehensive survey intended to gather valuable information about current students’ thoughts and experiences, provide comparisons over time, and gather data that will help leaders and administrators across our university realign programs, policies and learning environments to strengthen a culture driven by student wellbeing.
The survey provides us with a comprehensive profile of the current status of student wellbeing by asking questions about your experiences and attitudes towards sense of belonging, equity and inclusivity, positive mental health, at-risk drinking, sexual assault, and upstanding bystander behaviors. It will also give us USC-specific information on COVID-19, transgender healthcare, sense of belonging, and religious/spirituality identities.Look for the invitation in your email from wellbeingcollective@usc.edu; and visit uscwellbeingcollective.usc.edu for additional information.Your responses will be confidential. Results will be shared only in an aggregate format (no individual names will be identified or released from this study). Thank you for your time and consideration. We appreciate your participation in helping to shape policies and decisions that make USC a more supportive environment where all students can thrive.
