Subject: Updates to Fall 2020 Courses
I hope this message finds you in good health. As you know, hundreds of people across the university are hard at work preparing to welcome many of you back to campus for the fall semester. The COVID-19 pandemic is evolving quickly, and the health, safety and well-being of our USC community remains our top priority. Simultaneously, we are committed to delivering a high-quality education, robust learning environment and an engaging Trojan experience for every student.
In line with local and federal public health guidance, we have updated the delivery method for many fall courses to include hybrid, in-person and online learning. We published these changes on the USC Schedule of Classes and on Web Registration.
At your earliest convenience, please access Web Registration and check for changes to any of your fall semester courses. You will find changes to course meeting days, times and locations on the myCourseBin page. Please verify that a change to one course did not create a time conflict with other courses or activities you planned when you initially registered for classes. You have ample time to optimize your schedule before classes begin for the fall semester.
If you have any questions regarding the delivery method for a specific course, please contact the relevant department. Your academic advisor can also answer questions you may have about the best options for your schedule based on your degree progress, fall semester housing plans, any medical needs or concerns, and other personal circumstances. In addition, you can contact my office at registrar@usc.edu if you need assistance accessing Web Registration.
Please be aware that the pandemic continues to evolve, and we may need to further adjust the delivery method for certain courses in order to protect the health and safety of our entire university community. We will share updates as they become available. We know this is a difficult time for our students, and we are all here to support you as we navigate this situation together.
